Volunteer Opportunities
Are you looking to work with teens? Taking the Reins often needs volunteers to assist our riding instructors in overseeing the teens while they groom, tack up and ride the horses in the arena. We ask that volunteers make a commitment of one half day per week for a minimum of eight weeks. Every volunteer is expected to complete a Volunteer Training Workshop.
Would you like to help plan an event?Taking the Reins welcomes volunteers to join Taking the Reins Board members, staff and other community volunteers to help with the planning of our annual Taking the Reins Family Day Barbeque.
- Become a member of our organizing committee and make the barbeque a huge success.
- Set up and/or staff one of our many activity tables at the event such as raffle/silent auction tables, pumpkin painting, face painting etc.
